The goal of the Cave's studio architecture, first and foremost, is to capture the performance on sixteen tracks simultaneously: 

• Eight tracks are Direct Inputs for various points in the guitar signal chain

• Eight tracks are Microphone Inputs from Guitar Amps and Room "Air" mics
