Primary dynamic mic for Acoustic Guitar, Kelley guitar amp, Vocals, and Dialog tracks. The R-121 is good on just about every source from drums, brass, electric guitar and bass to acoustic instruments, strings and percussion. It has a wide dynamic range with a rich low end and has the ability to take large amounts of EQ if necessary.

The SM-57 is the industry standard guitar amp mic for decades. Paired with the Royer R-121 ribbon mic it is a match made in guitar tone heaven.

The R-121 is crystal clear and true to its sound source at high SPL levels. The SM-57 is musically colored and complements the pristine R-121 perfectly for that classic tube tone we all know and love.

The e-609 is an industry standard for close micing tube guitar amps at high SPL levels.

It does not require a mic stand as it hangs down from the top of the amp on its cable. It lays flat against the amp's grill cloth.

The e-609 role is in the Dual Amp Muse studio configuration on the Tone King tube amp.

The e-906 is an industry standard for close micing tube guitar amps. It adds a high pass filter at 80 HZ to the legendary e609 basic specs.

As with the e-609 It does not require a mic stand as it hangs down from the top of the amp on its cable. It lays flat against the amp's grill cloth.
